Master M.Ed., in Secondary Education, George Mason University

A veteran chemistry and science teacher with eleven years of in-classroom teaching experience.

Her teaching experience is diverse and includes middle school, high school, college level chemistry and general science courses. Currently and in addition to her work at a major Washington, DC hospital, she teaches the Holy Quran part time at a local Islamic Center in Virginia, U.S.A. As a visual learner herself, she uncovers a new way to look at Quran education for all types of learners including non-Arabic speaking learners, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. She is also interested in classroom management challenges especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. As the number of non-Arabic speaking learners of the Holy Quran increases, we face the overwhelming need for a new approach and new teaching resources.

“I have chosen to write the Quran workbooks to inspire others to try a new approach to learn and teach the Holy Quran and understand it’s simple meanings. I experienced much joy creating these workbooks and look forward to creating many more for the different chapters of the Holy Quran. Process improvement is a principle that I have learned in Health Care and now live by when it comes to creating new content. Please join me on this journey to learn the word of God one workbook at a time”
